We deliver and collect across West Yorkshire from Monday to Sunday. |
Upon delivery, the machine(s) are inspected. |
Our team can provide guidance on operating and safety procedures. |
Upon collection, the machine(s) are inspected. |
Delivery costs vary depending on location. |
A typical hire period is for 24 hours. We collect the machinery/equipment 24 hours or later after it has been delivered to your site.
That is not possible, the charge would be for a full day’s hire.
For local deliveries, machinery and/or equipment will usually be delivered by 9am. If the machinery/equipment is required before 9am, this can be arranged, providing as much notice as possible is given due to the limited number of ‘early drop’ delivery slots.
We require you to sign documentation and therefore need you to be present when delivered.
We don’t provide any thorough training for the use of our machinery. However, our operators will be happy to guide you through the safety procedures of the machinery/equipment upon delivery. As well, all machines and equipment come with an operator’s manual detailing the functions of the machine.
No, you do not need to have a driver’s licence to operate plant machinery. However, if the operator needed to drive on any public roads or motorways, they would require a driver’s licence to comply with road traffic regulations.
We do not usually charge if the damage is minor, such as a scratch (entirely at our discretion).
However, you will be liable to cover the cost for more obvious damage such as dents, scratches to rams, panels or other parts, which would result in a repair bill including the price of the part and labour charges to replace the part.
It is your responsibility to have the correct insurance. Clients are advised to ensure they have ‘hired-in’ plant insurance. For a short hire period, we understand that this may not always be possible, therefore, we can provide advice on 01274 317958.
The size of the plant machinery depends on your requirements and the scope of the works, as well as any access restrictions. Our fleet contains machines of various sizes and we can advise which machine is best suited for the job by calling us on 01274 317958.
Ideally, we would prefer you to be there when the machinery/equipment is collected. However, we understand this is not always possible and therefore we ask that you could please leave the keys with somebody on site. The hirer is always responsible for the security of the machinery/equipment until we collect it, even after it is no longer in use on site.
We understand you may not have the facilities to clean the machine to look like it did when it arrived, but we ask that you please make an effort to get the worst of the muck off the machine and the inside of the machine must be mud-free when it is collected.
